God Will Make a Way
The message of Exodus 14 is very encouraging to me. As I mentioned yesterday during the sermon, the Israelites had no idea of how God would rescue them. They were stuck between the desert and the Red Sea with the Egyptian army pressing in on them. The situation would have seemed hopeless and escape would have seemed impossible. Yet, God opened up a way through the sea and the Israelites walked through on dry ground.
I mentioned a song during the sermon yesterday that seemed like it might have not been familiar to some of you. The lines I quoted are:
God will make a way
Where there seems to be no way.
He works in ways we cannot see.
He will make a way for me.
He will be my guide.
Hold me closely to His side.
With love and strength for each new day,
He will make a way, He will make a way.

Gail Litwiller mentioned during the prayer time yesterday how much the choir appreciates the time our director, Betty Zook, puts in. She does do a great job. We also appreciate Louise for her work in accompanying us, and the work of Jim McGowan in helping with the sound system during practice. We also appreciate Ross Bogue for all of his work with the sound system on Sunday mornings.
Remember that we will switching to our Summer schedule beginning June 2nd. No Sunday School during June, July, and August, and our worship service will begin at 9am. Also remember that Sunday, June 9th, our annual community Pentecost service will be held at NDMC beginning at 9am.
God bless, Brian
