We are about to enter a wonderful and busy season as a congregation...and just in time for summer! Finding a solid candidate to pursue as the new pastor is something that North Danvers Mennonite Church deserves. It is a cause to celebrate! I'm excited for you and for your future.
Over the next few months as you get to know the candidate and decide together as a congregation whether or not you have indeed found your next pastor, know that you are all being prayed for by your interim pastoral team. Both my dad and I love this congregation. We love all of you. We wish you only the best during this exciting process, and you all deserve a win. May this be a great, fruitful, and rewarding season.
And as you enter this season as a congregation, remember these words from 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18; "16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing,18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you" (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, ESV).
I look forward to seeing what happens.
